At Tokheim South Africa we embrace broad based black economic empowerment. We manage and measure our progress at every board meeting and are continuously striving to improve. We are currently a Level 3 contributor in terms of the BBBEE Codes of Good Practice.

Training and skills transfer is a key reason for our success and we have specific targets to achieve in training and skills transfer across all areas of the company. All staff are encouraged to study and are provided with financial assistance and moral support in any endeavor that embraces furthering education. All technicians and contractors participate in the company’s technical certification programme.

Tokheim-SA prides itself in the Employment Equity Plan in place, which is in accordance with legislation as states in Section 19.1 of Employment Equity Act of South Africa.

All staff members qualify to form part of the Tokheim-SA employee trust which provides each member the opportunity to be a shareholder in the organization. The said Trust owns 20% of Tokheim-SA.
